Iny's Purne Cake with Buttermilk Icing

I tell you do NOT be afraid!!

Before we decided to tackle PW cookbook I found this recipe on her blog as "Make this cake today. Trust Me!" and her description just made me want to make it! And I'm not even a prune fan at all. So, we were going to the Dotson's one night for dinner and I thought hey why not try this recipe out on more than just me and Daniel (hey someone had to be the guinea pig!) so I made it and I for one thought it was delicious. The frosting (not sure where the buttermilk part comes in though) is what makes it so good I think. Daniel was very skeptical but in the end we both liked it and I think the Dotson's did they said so anyways and I left some for them. I will definitely be making this again for unsuspecting people!!:)
